Atmospheric Chemistry and Transport, Global Biogeochemical Cycles, Global Air Quality
      My current research examines the impact of human activity on the chemistry of the atmosphere and its resulting impact on global air quality, climate, and global biogeochemical cycles. Some specific topics are: The influence of aerosols, both natural and anthropogenic, on air quality and climate; The impact of changing biogenic hydrocarbon emissions on air quality; The interannual variability in CO2 sinks, sources and accumulation; The impact of human fixation of nitrogen on global nitrogen biogeochemistry.
